U15 Boys & Girls - Option 1
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE DATE FOR THE QUALIFIER IN GRANDE PRAIRIE IS LATER THAN THE OTHER LOCATIONS
Event correspondence is sent to teams through email, please be sure that the coach adds the following to their email white list: vicki.baird@curlingalberta.ca, michael.laderoute@curlingalberta.ca, raymond.vanstone@curlingalberta.ca
Teams must register with a complete roster (four original players and a coach) by the registration deadline date as stated in the Competitors Guide. Teams who list a player or coach as “TBD, TBA,” etc. will NOT be considered entered.
Curling Alberta requires all athletes in the Men's, Women's, Mixed Doubles, Mixed, U20, U21 Mixed Doubles, Seniors, Club Championships and Wheelchair categories and at least one parent/legal guardian of every curler under the age of 18 must complete the online Safe Sport Program in order to participate in any Curling Alberta sanctioned event. U15 athletes are strongly recommended to complete the online Safe Sport Program as well. Please ensure your Safe Sport Training completion is uploaded to Curling Alberta's Sideline Learning prior to the start of competition. If it is not uploaded to Curling Alberta's Sideline Learning site, you have not met the requirements to compete.
One team representative will login or sign up to Curling I/O to register and pay for your team registration. Please note that your team can only enter one of the three Provincial Qualifier options; teams cannot change location after the registration deadline. There are no regional boundaries, please choose the most convenient option for your team. Refer to the Competitors’ Guide on the Curling Alberta website for further registration details including withdrawals, refunds and changes to rosters or location.
It remains the responsibility of the competitors and coaches to read and adhere to all policies contained in the most recent publication of Curling Alberta’s competitive policies (including appendices) on the website. Refer to the Competitors' Guide on the Curling Alberta website for further registration details including withdrawals, refunds and changes to rosters or location.
Once the registration has been completed, the representative will receive a confirmation email from Curling I/O Support with the subject of ‘Order Submitted - Curling I/O’ with a link to the waiver which must be forwarded onto the rest of your team so EACH member can accept the waiver and complete an up-to-date curler profile. For clarity, players who have previously created a curler profile should not create a new one and must use the same email as their original profile.
Coaches are required to follow the coaching requirements as noted in the Competitors’ Guide, including providing an up-to-date NCCP# (National Coaching Certification Program number), Criminal Record Check and have completed Safe Sport Program.
Best Western, Curling Alberta's official hotel, should be used for accommodation whenever possible.
