Event correspondence is sent to teams through email, please be sure that the skip adds the following to their email white list: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com
Teams must register with a complete roster (four original players) by the registration deadline date as stated in the Competitors Guide. Teams who list a player as "TBD, TBA," etc. will NOT be considered entered.
There may be a team registered for this qualifier that will qualify for a pre-berth. Stay up to date with the latest standings to see who may receive these pre-qualifying berths, the information can be found on the Curling Alberta website
One team representative will login or sign up to Curling I/O to register and pay for your team registration. Teams may only register for one of three qualifiers by the registration deadline. In other words, please do not register for the Last Chance unless that is the only men’s qualifier you will enter. Registered teams that were not successful in winning a provincial berth will be sent a private link to register for the Last Chance and are required to pay another entry fee minus the competitor fees.
It remains the responsibility of the competitors and coaches to read and adhere to all policies contained in the most recent publication of Curling Alberta’s competitive policies (including appendices) on the website. Refer to the Competitors' Guide on the Curling Alberta website for further registration details including withdrawals, refunds and changes to rosters or location.
Once the registration has been completed, the representative will receive a confirmation email from Curling I/O Support with the subject of ‘Order Submitted - Curling I/O’ with a link to the waiver which must be forwarded onto the rest of your team so EACH member can accept the waiver and complete an up-to-date curler profile. For clarity, players who have previously created a curler profile should not create a new one and must use the same email as their original profile.
NEW!! Curling Alberta requires all athletes in the Men’s, Women’s, Mixed Doubles, Mixed, U20, U21 Mixed Doubles, Seniors, Club Championships and Wheelchair categories and at least one parent/legal guardian of every curler under the age of 18 must complete the online Safe Sport Program in order to participate in any Curling Alberta sanctioned event.
Every curler will be charged a $25.00 Curling Canada Competitor's fee for every competition they enter; this will be added to the registration fee and will be displayed in your cart.
Best Western, Curling Alberta's official hotel, should be used for accommodation whenever possible.
